Paper Transport joined the Top 100 For-Hire Carriers in June 2022. The company opened up it’s doors in 1990 with just 3 trucks. Today, Paper Transport employs 923 professional truck drivers, over 200 office employees, 825 company-owned tractors, 25 owner-operated tractors, 3,200 trailers, 3 straight trucks, and $244,000,000 in revenue.
Founders Lennie Shefchik and Roger Grimsely made it their mission to create a great place to work and provide exceptional customer service. As a result, they modeled Paper Transport’s culture. For example, they jump in to a truck to cover a load when a driver needed time off. That is to say, they understood meeting both team needs and customer needs was paramount to the company’s success. Above all, this accountability and a can-do attitude has propelled the company’s growth over the past 3 decades.
Today, CEO Ben Schill shares what Paper Transport joining the top 100 For-Hire Carriers means for the company. Ben stated, “I’ve never felt more certain about where we are headed from here.”
