Once a team member, always a team member.
After nearly 7 years with Paper Transport, LLC., Local Operations Manager Bob Huddleston announced his retirement.
Bob Huddleston: A Legacy
In June of 2015, Bob Huddleston joined the team in our Cedar Springs, Georgia location, where we were struggling to satisfy a very demanding customer. Operations Manager Stephen Birchfield stated, “once onboard, Bob was able to right the ship and has continued to build a strong relationship with customers and his employees while delivering top-notch service and will be missed as a team member of the Cedar Springs operation.” Arlicia Kirkland, Gate Coordinator at Cedar Springs, shared it was a pleasure working with Bob.
Bob describes his retirement as a bittersweet time in his life. He has been working his whole life since the age of 15. “I started detasselling corn for Pioneer Seed in Indiana, now, I am at a position to begin enjoying the rest of my life ‘responsibility free’ by doing whatever I want to do … that’s a great feeling!”
People-Oriented Culture
Bob’s journey with Paper Transport has been nothing “short of awesome.” He shared “I have worked with some of the best people. I have always received unwavering support and guidance throughout my tenure with the company. I have witnessed considerations extended to every PTI employee at every level. PTI is a company that truly recognizes ‘Human Resources’ (the employees) as being their most important asset towards company success. It was a blessing to finally find it on my final journey.”
Huddleston will officially retire on Saturday, April 2nd of 2022.
Thank you, Bob, for your dedication and contributions to the team! Best of luck with your new adventures.
